  • I live on beautiful Lake Martin and enjoy playing hostess to my friends and family.

  • I was the only girl in my high school senior class (and yes, I was the homecoming queen).

  • My Starbucks coffee order is a venti cold brew with a pack of Stevia (don’t judge me).

  • Playing tennis was my favorite sport before I blew out my knees a few years ago. Now, my goal is to live vicariously by watching all 4 major tennis tournaments in person.

  • We have 2 adorable fur babies- an Airedale Terrior Ivey, and a new miniature schnauzer, Winston.

  • My husband is from New Zealand. For a small fee, he’ll leave you a birthday message in his adorable accent

  • My 6 grandbabies call me “Nana.”

  • I’m a hot mess who loves my people deeply.

  • On May 16, 2020, my world stopped when my 20-year-old darling Joshua entered heaven after a 16-month battle with Leukemia. Since then, we have been slowly moving forward.

  • My life mantra is “Say “Yes!’ ” ; “Say, ‘Why not?!’ ” ; “Be lighthearted.

Kathy Eggers has been dedicated to the well-being of young families for over 25 years. As a former teacher and ​​administrator​,​ Kathy has extensive experience in the field of early childhood education and is a child development specialist. Kathy is a mom to 8, a bonus mom to 2, and Nana to 6.

She enjoys sharing her journey of imperfect motherhood, inspiring others to parent intentionally and authentically. A sought-after speaker worldwide, Kathy is often described as a passionate, experienced, and humorous presenter.
